Micro-chipping

Having a dog Micro-chipped

Micro-chipping is the most effective and secure way of permanently identifying your dog. A microchip is painlessly implanted under your dog’s skin and when scanned by a dog warden or vet will bring up your contact details from a database. Make sure you keep your details up to date.

We charge £12 for this service. It is also required by law since April 2016 that you have your dog microchipped at the time of the first vaccination /at 8 weeks and that the details must be kept up to date.

Request an appointment online: https://therescuehotelhealthcentre.com/ or by phoning us on: 02921 202975

Don’t forget to update your details

It is important to remember to keep your dog’s details updated when you move home or change your phone number.
Sadly, Not only it is a legal requirement to ensure that your contact details are up-to-date, but the microchip is useless without them as we may not be able to contact you if we find your dog.
