Please welcome to the hotel our newest Greyhound boy, Ben.
Ben is a 5 year old ex racing
Greyhound who arrived in our care via another rescue along with his friend Starky.He has taken the new change of environment and routine in his stride.
Ben has the sweetest, gentle nature and enjoys nothing more than affection from staff and his new volunteer friends.
Although a generally active breed, Ben’s days of zooming around a track is long behind him and he now definitley deserves a more leisurely lifestyle going on gentle strolls amd snoozing the day away (although he is still partial to the occasional greyhound zoomie)This being the case, we feel Ben would be suited to a person or family who are after a companion dog to enjoy new adventures with.
Ben has shown lovely manners around dogs therefore, we would be happy to home him with a similar size, neutered resident dog. This will all be based on controlled introductions done here at the centre.
Due to his racing background unfortunately, Ben wouldn’t be suitable to live with resident cats or small furries. He could potentially live with children of any age that are used to large breeds.
