Introducing our newest long legged beauty, Guppy the lurcher! Guppy was brought into our care as a stray. She is now looking for a forever companion. We believe Guppy is around 1-2 years old and is a border collie X sighthound breed.
Guppy is a gorgeous girl that loves going on long walks with our volunteers, she enjoys seeing and smelling the world around her and is very inquisitive of new things. Guppy is a sensitive pooch, she is very worried about loud noises and things such as cars and trains going past. She has begun to work on this and her new owners will need to continue to take her to training classes to help her get over her worries… she is a very happy girl that takes to training well so this should be a fun and exciting task for her !
Guppy is very loving dog that enjoys cuddles and fusses off her trusted humans, she can take a little while to trust but once she does Guppy is your best pal for life! She would love to take part in some fun training sessions too to keep her brain busy.
We would be happy to introduce Guppy to children 16+ , other dogs and cats depending on intros done at the centre.
If your application is successful you will be invited to meet guppy. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
