Say hello to the newest sausage in the building , Feta the dachshund! She is around 1-2 years old. Feta is a very happy little lady that is looking for a family to share all her love and licks with forever.
Feta was brought into our care as a stray, that was not chipped. so we unfortunately don’t have any background information on her… however this girl has no problem showing us her lovely personality. She is very friendly, although a little wary on first meets. Feta has been enjoying walks with our volunteers and using her daxie nose to sniff out all the smells of this big wide world. Although, her absolute favourite activity is sitting on her humans lap and having lots of fusses.
Feta can sometimes use her big daxie bark to show her excitement for all the things around her, she will need some training in this area so she can direct her big emotions into a better outlet. She would benefit from training classes to help with this. She has made a doggie pal whilst in our care and has been on walks with children , so we would be happy to look at Rehoming her with calm children 5+ , dogs & cats depending on introductions done at the centre.
Being a blue colour Feta has some fur loss in some areas, this does not bother her at all but her owners will need to continue with a good diet and skin care to hopefully help it grow back.
