Kingston
Say hello to this handsome hunk, Kingston the mastiff cross. Kingston was brought into our care after a change in circumstances with his owner. It sounds like Kingston has gone through a few homes- all through no fault of his own. He is 5 years old.
Kingston is a very loving lad that enjoys his walks more than anything in the world. He has clearly had some training in his past life and is used to home comforts so is really struggling in kennel life and finding it hard to settle with us. His walks are his time to de-stress and enjoy the world around him, Kingston is a very strong boy that will need some leash training , but he is very bright and motivated so this should be no problem!
He would benefit from some training classes to brush up on old skills and help with socialising. Kingston is non-reactive however very interested in other doggies so will need some work on engagement in this area. He loves to have butt scratches from his humans and enjoys running his back along bushes on his walk to scratch! Kingston is currently on a diet and his new owners will need to keep up with this to help him get his summer body ready!
We believe that Kingston is best suited to a pet free home as this is what he is used to and will like a calm life with lots of solo walks. He could potentially live with children 16+ that are used to large breeds.
