Cheddar

Whisper a gentle hello to the beautiful Cheddar and her ears! Cheddar is a Frenchie cross staffie who is around 6 months old.  She was brought into our care as a stray and her owners sadly never came to claim her… she is now looking for a family that will love her forever.

When Cheddar arrived in our care she was very nervous of the kennel environment, Cheddar would sit at her front gate and tremble as she was so worried… She would even try to escape if she could. With a lot of patience and love she is coming out her shell in kennels massively. On a walk, Cheddar is a completely different dog. She is a very curious girl that loves long adventures and exploring the local area. She likes to stop for fusses off the volunteers and has a very good camera pose, as you can see ! She walks well on the lead and is easily distracted from things she may find a little nerve wracking as she is very food motivated!

Cheddar has made some doggie pals whilst in her care and we believe she would thrive in a home with another canine companion.

Cheddar will need to attend training classes to build up her general doggie skills… depending on introductions done at the centre she could possibly live with:

– [ ] Cats
– [ ] Children of all ages

Cheddar should not be in kennels at her age, she is missing out on the love and life she deserves.
