This handsome gent is Bow, he is approximately 8 years old and sadly found himself homeless after a brevement.
Bow is an American Bulldog, he is such a happy boy and just wants to be loved.
He can be strong on lead but settles in to a good pace.
He is an active fella, he doesn’t miss a stiff. Bow has good manners when on walks, he passes all dogs with no interest and literally does not take any notice of anything other than the smells he’s following. Bow doesn’t like to stop much and would rather get a BP on his step count. A treat or two here and there won’t go a miss either.
Bow has lived a life full of love, he has been in a calm home and would probably prefer a retired lifestyle. He was an only pet, however we would be happy to introduce him to any calm natured residents who are of similar age.
He has been fine on walks with children as his pervious walkers would regularly take him out.
We feel Bow would benefit from home with older calm children 16+, this is purely based on him being an older gentleman and wanting a relaxed life.
Why should he share the attention when he deserves it all.
Bow will need regular ear cleaning as he can sometimes have a flare up of a sore ears and skin. He is used to raw feeding although being at the centre we have had transfer him over to Burns sensitive biscuits and grain free wet food, he seems fine on this diet.
He has also received medical treatment for his ears to help fight any infections and make him more comfortable. Bow can be worried at vet visits as his ears were very sore and associating the pain of being checked can bring fear.
Bow was a good boy for his vet check when he arrived at the centre, he aloud the vet to examine him with minimal fuss.
If you feel you have a Bow shaped space in your hearts and on your sofa, help a man in need.
He honestly is a super straight forward fella. Easy going and just wants a simple life.
If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Bow. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
