Welcome our newest, unique looking resident, Chico, a 3-4 year old long coat Chihuahua.
Chico communicates his feelings well and needs to be listened to and respected.
Chico doesn’t have very many teeth, which makes his tongue permanently hang out like an anteater and cause a wet chin and chest due to excessive dribble.
Despite this, it doesn’t seem to affect him, and we think it adds a special cute and quirky look to him.
Chico would be best suited to an adult only, Chihuaua experienced home with someone around most of the time to keep him company and help remind and teach him of some basic skills.
He could possibly live with neutered resident dogs and cats based on controlled introductions here at the centre.
His new owners will also need to be committed to the daily upkeep and maintenance of his coat, teeth, and dribbly chin to ensure that he is kept healthy and comfortable.
He is a real little character and would make any Chihuaua enthusiast a lovely addition to their family.
He travels well in the car and likes to sit up front as the passenger prince.
