Hello, I'm Bob

Introducing mr whirlwind… Bob!! This handsome fella arrived in our care as a stray and was never claimed. He is now looking for his forever adventure family to spend his days walking and playing with.

Bob is a young lab boy, around the age of 10months-1 year old. He has a lot of Labrador energy and absolutely loves going on long walks with our volunteers . His absolute favourite things on walks are ; rolling around in tufts of grass, zooming and stopping for cuddles . Bob is also partial to a dip in the river and we think we may have a water baby on our hands…

Bob knows some basic cues like ‘sit’ and ‘paw’ however he needs some work on things like calm behaviours and not singing the song of canines to the dogs he meets. He can be reactive to other dogs on the lead however has made a doggie pal off the lead in our garden . Bob has a lot of pent up energy and this comes out in frustration directed towards other dogs. He is a very bright boy that needs a lot more than what kennel life can give him and needs out as soon as possible . In a home, where he is getting properly exercised and stimulated we believe these behaviours will get better alongside working with a trainer and having a plan for this .

Bob is VERY affectionate, so if you don’t like cuddles and kisses… we hate to break it to you, but he is not the man for you! Bob would love a home that like to go on adventures like hikes and are willing to take him to training classes to work that busy brain and help him with daily life! He could potentially live with other neutered resident dogs, cats and children 14+ depending on intros done at the centre .
