This bundle of energy is our very own Thor, he is approximately 3 months old. We believe Thor is a mix between a jack russel and a whippet breed.
Poor Thor arrived in our care as a fake stray, with yellow staining to his paws and legs indicating that he has unfortunately been left in a small area that would have been covered in his faeces and urine.
Well, Thor putting his big boy pants on and forgetting about his bad past. He is looking for a fun filled home to help him learn in a kind and rewarding way, one full of love.
Thor is a very bright and inquisitive pup, he has already mastered the art of sit, wait and down. He is working hard on his sharing skills as he has shown some issues with high value toys and treats. He is working on this with our behaviour team and making great improvements.
Thor would love to partake in sport like agility, this would challenge his terrier mind and work on his sight hound speed, Building confidence and structure at the same time.
Thor will require someone who is home most of the time, this will be beneficial to his learning. We would highly recommend Thor is enrolled on to training classes such as obedience/fun learning and dog socialisation classes.
Being such a baby Thor would love a canine companion or two, to help show him the ropes of how to dog properly.
If you have the heart and time to help a pup in need, please consider him. Thor deserves a chance to know what a loving family can offer.
Thor is not suitable to live with children as his manners when it comes to sharing toys are still not appropriate (he is learning and improving everyday), unfortunately he can get a little overwhelmed with this. We feel he will learn and develop in a home with well established canines and experienced humans who have worked with behaviours similar to this.
Once Thor is sophisticated member of society he will will be able to be introduced to the little people of the world. Time is on his side so he’s not in a hurry to be perfect.
