Hello, I'm Jason

Please Welcome back to the home, Jason the beautiful Labrador X patterdale. Jason was unfortunately brought back into our care after his last family wasn’t quite the right fit for him. He is around 1 year old.

Jason is such a bright lad, he has come on such a long way from when he was first in our care. He knows many tricks such as sit, down , wait, touch, play dead, roll over, spin, middle position and can go to the toilet on cue . Jason’s recall is 80% there too, he will just need his new owners to continue the work on this.

Having two high energy breeds as his cross Jason has a lot of energy, he can sometimes get overstimulated if his needs haven’t been met and he hasn’t had time to settle. This can be shown with him jumping up , barking and mouthing you. Jason will need some work on this, but catering to his every day needs this should settle with a helping hand . He would absolutely excel at a sport like agility as he is super switched on and loves to run!

Jason is a very loving boy once he knows you, he loves to cuddle up on the sofa and gives kisses too. His favourite toys are his tug toy and a tennis ball, if you play tug with J he will be your best friend for life ! Jason is house trained and has shown no aversions to the vets . He has been struggling with seeing other dogs and can be quite reactive towards them, his previous owners have muzzle trained him to eventually help with interactions when he gets to this stage. The behaviour team at the hotel have been working hard with him on this and he has shown massive improvements!

Jason is looking for an experienced , pet and child free home that have the time to give him what he needs so he can thrive for the rest of his life.
