Whisper a gentle hello to our handsome Jake JNR the lurcher ! Jake was brought into our care in a terrible state, he was severely emaciated , covered in scars on his face and had extremely sore paw pads. It seems as if Jake has most likely been used for hunting from what we see from his scars…. Jake is ready to put his past behind him and take the next steps to becoming a brand new dog! He is approximately 5 years old.
Jake is a timid boy that has some worries about the world around him. however his favourite pastime is going on strolls with his favourite volunteers & then ending the day in the play pen to have a few zoomies with his favourite toys ! He is looking for a new family that will help him take life at his own slow pace for the time being, giving him time settle in to his new life without any major worries.
Jake is as super affectionate boy, once he trusts you the love is never ending with him. He likes to do a typical lurcher lean onto your body and cuddles right in for scratches. He is a little uncertain of his doggie pals as of yet and can sometimes sing a lurcher song to let them know he is passing, we are sure with confidence and training Jake JNR will be able to have lots of doggie pals in time…
Jake is looking for an adult only pet free home to help him settle into a quiet life with lots of adventures awaiting him.
If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Jake JNR. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
