Introducing Wednesday the beautiful pocket bully. This young lady arrived in our care alongside her sister Hester, who has since been adopted. Upon arrival Wednesday was very underweight , riddled with fleas and had severe skin issues. It was clear that the pair had never known a loving home that all dogs should know.
When wednesday first arrived she was quite timid and took a while to come out her shell. Wednesday has since been lucky enough to spend some time in a foster home and this is what her carer has to say about her:
Wednesday is an amazing house guest, she sleeps in her crate quiet as a mouse and has her little routine with walks and crate rest . Wednesday used to jump up for food and drink but now she patiently waits . She is a dream on a walk, has met lots of on and off lead dogs with no problems. Loves attention from people on walks and waits patiently whilst people are having chats with me . She loves my 15 year old son and has had great manners around him. She is fine being left on her own and her favourite thing is a bath!
Wednesday has turned out to be a super well rounded dog that is looking for a home that can give her the love she deserves long term. Wednesday has long term skin issues that are currently being treated with steroids, her new owners will need to feed her a good diet and keep up to date with skin issues to make sure her flare ups are kept under control. It is managed very well .
She could potentially live with dogs, cats and children 10+ depending on intros done at the centre.
If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Wednesday. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
