Scruffy coated Jack russel terrier pip is 4 years old. She came to our care after her previous owners were unable to care for her. Pip is a very laid back girl when in her safe place. she likes to sit up high and be able to see all that is happening in the world.
We have found that Pip can be nervous upon first meets and will take a while to warm to new people. She prefers the quiet environments and seems at ease when in wooded areas away from the busy city. Once pip has sussed you out she will happily show how affectionate she really is. She is a sucker for chicken treats!
Pip has previously lived a working life style and is looking for home that can still offer her the outside world of hikes and exploring all over. Pip will require a long line when out and about in the fields, in typical terrier style her senses will kick in if she picks up a strong wiff of an interesting scent. Working on her drive for what she knows but in a managed manner means she is still fulfilling her breed needs.
Pip is looking for a child free home, with adults who are lovers of the Jack russel terrier breed and ones who love adventures and are very active.
Sports work shops such as agility may also be beneficial to pips mental stimulation. Training classes are always advised to be attended to help progress further with socialisation and general life skills.
Pip could potentially live with other neutered male dogs of similar energy and size.
All introductions will be carried out at our centre.
