Please welcome our very own golden oldie Princess. She is a mature lady at 13 years old and arrived in our care after being carelessly dumped as a stray.
Princess was in an horrendous condition when she came to us. She was so severely emaciated she struggled to hold her own weight… She had a bad flea infestation which caused missing fur and sore skin. Princess also required further antibiotics for an untreated mouth infection that was causing her pain. Her claws were overgrown causing her pain and discomfort when walking. After lots of love and care, Princess has now gained lots of weight, had a nail trim and completed a course of medication for her skin so she is feeling much better. She is looking for a retirement home under palliative care , where she can enjoy the finer things in life and be given the love she always deserved.
Princess has started the road to recovery, her vet visits are on going for the moment to make sure every avenue is covered.
She seems to love the presence of other dogs and could happily live with a calm resident canine.
We would be happy to place Princess in with home cats and calm children based on introductions at the centre.
Please be advised Princess will require vet visits to help maintain her health and maintenance.
If your application is successful you will be invited to meet Princess. If you do not hear anything within 7 days please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
